Petaluma will be holding its first MLP team event on Saturday May 17th. Here are the details:
Divisions: There will be 2 divisions of competition. Please note that you may be placed in the higher or lower division depending on the level of other people who sign-up.
Intermediate will play from 10 am to 1 PM
Advanced will play from 2 to 5 PM
Limited to 32 people: Each division will have 4 teams made up of 4 players, 2 men and 2 women. Sign-ups will be first come, first served. Others will be added to a waitlist.
Teams: Teams are made up of 2 women and 2 men. Sign-up as a team or as an individual. If you sign-up as an individual, you will be assigned to a team.
Scoring: Games will be played to 15, win by 2 using regular pickleball (side out) scoring.
DUPR: This is a DUPR event. Scores will be added to DUPR. Having a DUPR account, joining the Petaluma Pickleball DUPR club, and downloading the Swish App will all be required to participate.
Entry Fee: $40 donation to Petaluma Pickleball requested (If the entry fee is a barrier for you, please let us know. We don't want to limit your participation due to the entry fee.)
